Shelley from Venice, FLI Am a Bunny and Mandy are my absolute favorites. I think I memorized I Am a Bunny when I was 6 or 7 and still know the whole story today!!! I also remember some very special Auntie reading Mandy to me as a child. I always think about the part of the book where she describes the "house" and is cutting the lawn with scissors and all the sea shells on the walls. It is such a vivid memory and I often think of the house when I am just daydreaming... Jenni from Signal Mountain, TNThe Lorax, by Dr. Seuss, is a great book to read to children ages 4 and up, especially in April as we celebrate Earth Day. Kids really get upset at how the Lorax is treated. I enjoy reading this book out loud - the language is so interesting. And the ending... remarkable.
